Stumbled across this brilliant site on Digg, and I also understand it’s all over Fark and Slashdot, so I won’t be surprised if you’ve seen it already.

Anyway, what you’re about to see is 15,000 christmas lights, and four giant inflatables, all outside Alek Komarnitsky’s house in USA. Oh, and you can control them from anywhere in the world.

That’s right, all day, every day from Thanksgiving 2006 to January 1st 2007, Alek’s webcams will be showing his workstation, the front of his house and the lawn, which together home the mass of lights and inflatables. A few days after Google accquire Youtube, Microsoft signs it’s own deal on purchasing Blinkx.

I’m not even going to write about this. The fact that Vista is a replica of Mac, Blinkx is a wannabe Youtube, and that Microsoft are left with little or no originality whatsoever is enough to annoy me to the state of not wanting to write.

My thoughts:
Google Video is better than YouTube. Just integrate YouTube into Google Video, set youtube.com to redirect and get everyone to shut up!
